Rise

A professional speaker in a gray suit and bow tie stands on a stage, gesturing as he presents in front of a purple geometric backdrop, with a green plant on the right side of the stage.

Championing change, empowering others, and reimagining what’s possible in rural, public education.

Passion. Purpose. Perseverance.

Every child deserves a champion—someone who will show up, stand up, and never give up. That belief drives me every single day, and I know it’s what drives you, too. It calls us to be relentless advocates for children and to commit ourselves to work that is not only impactful today, but sustainable for generations to come.

This mission has never been about me. It’s about all of us—educators, families, and community leaders—who refuse to let circumstance determine potential. Together, we advocate for equity, inspire belief, and advance opportunity by building systems that are transformational, not transactional. We are rewriting the story for students who have been overlooked for far too long—challenging what’s always been done, breaking barriers that no longer serve, and delivering outstanding outcomes rooted in high expectations and deep care.

Heartwork—the purposeful, people-centered kind of leadership—is what transforms classrooms, schools, and communities. It calls us to lead in ways that are bold and permissionless, refusing to wait for approval to do what we know is right for kids. Heartwork demands courage, integrity, and the resolve to create sustainable change while inspiring others to rise alongside us.

So here’s my challenge to you: don’t wait for perfect conditions or someone else’s green light. Be the advocate who speaks up when it’s uncomfortable. Be the leader who inspires others through action. Be the change-maker who advances the work with urgency and purpose. Show up. Speak up. Keep building transformational, outstanding, and sustainable solutions that change lives.

Because progress doesn’t come from waiting. It comes from us—leading together, acting boldly, and choosing to rise anyway.

Imagine What’s Possible

Imagine a school where a child’s zip code doesn’t define their potential, where belief, access, and opportunity work together to rewrite what’s possible. A place where educators are empowered, families are partners, and students are proving that excellence is not exclusive, it’s expected. Imagine a school where…
